In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202514081), Hyun-Do Jung, Han Young Kim and co-workers introduce a mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)–inspired microneedle that mimics adaptive MSC secretion. A dual-compartment design integrates photothermal MXene nanosheets and MSC-derived nanovesicle–DNA conjugates for near-infrared–triggered release, regulating inflammation, promoting angiogenesis, and accelerating tissue remodeling in chronic diabetic wounds. This biomimetic–nanomaterial platform enables immune-regenerative wound therapy.
